The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced that the first Ram Navami celebrations at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be televised live on public service broadcaster Prasar Bharati. It also stated that on 17 April, the temple will stay open for 20 h to guarantee that every devotee receives a darshan of Ram Lalla.
For the transmission, Prasar Bharati will also install LED screens in Ayodhya and the surrounding districts.
Massive Ram Navami celebrations in Ayodhya are scheduled to begin on 9 April and last until 17 April. The nine-day Navaratri celebrations will come to an end on this day.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust met for the entire day on Friday at Mani Ram Das Chhavni Peeth in Ayodhya to talk about the preparations for Ram Navami.
Attending the meeting were authorities, including Nripendra Misra, the head of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee, and Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the chairman of the Ram Mandir Trust.
Following the meeting on Friday, Champat Rai, the general secretary of the trust, informed the media, “Prasar Bharati has accepted our request for the live telecast of Ram Navami celebrations (at Ram Mandir).” According to Rai, “It will also install LED screens for the live telecast of the Ram Navami celebrations in Ayodhya and its surrounding areas.”
The trust anticipates that during the Ram Navami celebrations, several lakh people will visit Ayodhya. To guarantee that every devotee receives a darshan of Ram Lalla, Ram Mandir will be open for business for 20 h on 17 April. Rai stated, “Seven lines will be established to facilitate the flow of worshippers.
Additionally, the trust has made a plea to the community asking them to provide pilgrims to Ayodhya with drinking water. “Several lakh pilgrims who will visit Ayodhya will require access to enough drinking water, which the Trust alone would not be able to provide. Rai stated, “Therefore, the people of Ayodhya must make sure that no devotee goes without water.”
Additionally, the trust has asked that visitors to the temple put their devices away before arriving. “Before visiting the Ram Mandir, devotees should leave their shoes and cellphones somewhere else if they want a quick darshan of Ram Lalla,” stated Rai.
During the festivities for the seventh avatar of Vishnu, Ayodhya will have elaborate security systems in place. The temple town will also see the deployment of multiple companies of paramilitary personnel in addition to civil police.
