After the traditional Kerala wedding, Suresh Gopi wrote an emotional note as a proud father on Instagram and X, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his presence

Malayalam cine actor and Rajya Sabha MP Suresh Gopi’s daughter Bhagya Suresh married businessman Sreyas Mohan in a traditional Hindu wedding yesterday, 17 January, at the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, Thrissur, Kerala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, actors Mammootty, Mohanlal, Jayaram, Biju Menon, Shaji Kailas, Dileep, Parvathy, Kushboo and the who’s who of Malayalam cinema and Indian politics attended the wedding.

Suresh Gopi shared images of the Hindu ceremony like those of the bride entering the wedding venue accompanied by her parents and the groom getting ready for the important day of his life and their wedding, with Prime Minister Modi blessing them.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Suresh Gopi captioned it, “The big day! Here are the most beautiful and blessed moments from the wedding of Bhagya Suresh and Sreyas Mohan. Thanks a lot for all your prayers and best wishes.”

With their eldest daughter married, Suresh Gopi and his wife Radhika appeared beaming. After the traditional Kerala wedding, Suresh Gopi wrote an emotional note as a proud father, saying, “At the divine Guruvayur Temple, my lovely kids tied the knot in the esteemed presence of our Honourable PM Narendra Modi ji. Kindly keep Bhagya Suresh and Sreyas Mohan in your prayers.”

Wishes are still pouring in for the newlywed couple, with pictures of the ceremony taking the internet by storm. The prime minister’s arrival at the wedding, all the way from Delhi to Kerala, has made headlines expectedly.

Mammootty was seen in a cheerful mood at the event, letting the security personnel frisk him even when they hesitated. So was Mohanlal. Jayaram looked basking in the success of Abraham Ozler. Dileep and Kushboo Sundar were among the other stars at the reception.

Suresh Gopi will next be seen in JSK with Anupama Parameswaran. The film, which is directed by Pravin Narayanan, stars the actor’s younger son Madhav Suresh too. The rest of the cast includes Shruti Ramachandran, Divya Pillai, Askar Ali, Baiju Santhosh, Kottayam Ramesh and Shoby Thilkan.
